The Certified Nursing Assistant Training is a New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services-approved training course that consists of 90 hours of training (50 hours of classroom instruction and 40 hours of clinical instruction in a New Jersey licensed long-term care facility).
Students will be able to:
- Demonstrate compliance with standards of nursing practice assistant.
- Learn interactive training for high-quality patient care.
- Use accurate and appropriate healthcare communication terms.
- Training in a nursing facility as well as classroom study.
This program teaches skills such as lab training and practical, Nursing home instruction as well as classroom teaching. Most skills will be taught through lectures, role-playing, training videos; as well as real demonstrations.
Upon completion of this program, students will be trained for entry-level positions in long-term care facilities, hospitals, and home health agencies.
